Maintain centralized WLAN management using active Bulldog support and software maintenance

Scale and protect ZoneDirector 5000 deployments with a 12-month Bulldog support renewal that upgrades licensing to support 450 APs. This renewal provides continued access to Ruckus technical support, software maintenance, and licensing entitlements necessary for centralized WLAN management. For enterprises and service providers running dense campus or multi-site Wi‑Fi, the 450 AP license removes capacity limits and keeps controller-based features—such as policy-based provisioning, RF management, and firmware distribution—under a single support contract. Renewing Bulldog support preserves existing configuration and eases compliance with change-control policies by maintaining vendor-backed firmware and security updates. MPN 824-5450-1L00 applies specifically to ZoneDirector 5000 platform license upgrade and renewal for a single 12-month period. Use this SKU when you need predictable operational support and to avoid service gaps during expansion phases.

Ideal For

Upgrade a single ZoneDirector 5000 to support 450 APs for campus expansion
Renew central controller support to retain firmware and security patches
Scale managed Wi‑Fi in stadium or higher education environments needing 450 AP capacity
Avoid controller licensing gaps during phased AP rollouts across multiple buildings

Why This Product

1Combines license upgrade and 12-month Bulldog support in a single SKU, reducing procurement cycles
2Targets ZoneDirector 5000 capacity expansion; lower-cost options may lack AP license increase
3Maintains access to Ruckus firmware and security updates, which aftermarket alternatives may not include
4Aligns controller licensing and support to a single renewal period for easier budget forecasting
